Original Legea football shirt NAC Breda 2015/16

The 2015/16 season of NAC Breda was the 59th season of this Dutch football club in professional football. The club from Breda played in the Jupiler League, after being relegated through the play-offs in the previous season. Trainer-coach Robert Maaskant was immediately fired on October 6. NAC announced via its own club website that "there was no longer any support" for the trainer. "There was a lack of confidence that Maaskant would get the team back on track this season." His duties were taken over by his assistants Eric Hellemons and Rob Penders. In addition to being a trainer, Maaskant was also a technical manager of the Breda club. NAC Breda occupied sixth place in the Jupiler League at that time. On October 25, the club management appointed Marinus Dijkhuizen, who had been fired earlier that season at the English Brentford, as Maaskant's definitive successor. Dijkhuizen was chosen from four potential candidates. He signed a contract until 2017.
