Humlebæk Boldklub is a football club located at Lower Torpenvej 6, 3050 Humlebæk. The club was founded on May 7, 1937 and is a member of the SBU under the Danish Sports Federation and the Danish Gymnastics and Sports Associations.
In 1955, the team moved up to the mid-level, equivalent to today's Serie 1, while winning the club's first Zealand Championship by beating Rørby 9-2 at home. The following year, in 1956, the team reached the 3rd round of the DBU National Cup, where they were defeated by Vorup (then Randers Frederiksberg). In 1958 the team moved to the Sjællandsserien, where they became three seasons in the top division of Sjælland, and in 1961 the team first appeared on the Tipskuponen in a match against Glostrup, which was lost 1–2. At home.
After being relegated from the Sjællandsserien, it became a stay in the local series until the team won the Sjællandsserien in 1984 and moved to the Danmarksserien, where they stayed with one season in the Sjællandsserien in 1988 until 1999, when the team advanced to the qualifiers , the row under the then 2nd division. It has failed to become a divisional team, and since 2001 the team has played in the local series and will be in Series 2 in 2020.
In 1944 the Humlebæk School field was put into use, lighting systems were installed in 1960 and this year the club was able to hold the first floodlit competition under SBU. In 1961 another track was added on Bjerre Strand. In 1975 the club moved from the fields at Humlebæk Skole and Bjerre Strand to the current facility in Bannebjerggård, where a gravel field could be put into use in 1975. In 2010, the facility was upgraded with Fredensborg Municipality's first synthetic turf pitch.
