Peet Bijen(born January 28, 1995 in Hengelo) is a former Dutch professional footballer. He played as a central defender.
Bijen came from the Hengelo amateur club BWO and, at the age of 11, transferred to the D2 division of the FC Twente Football Academy in 2006. He progressed through the youth academy and made his first appearance for Jong FC Twente in 2012, which at the time was playing in the reserves league. On January 15, 2013, Bijen signed a three-year training contract with FC Twente.
When Jong FC Twente first played in the Eerste Divisie in the 2013/14 season, Bijen was the team's captain. On August 7, 2013, he made his professional debut with the reserves in a match against FC Oss. He played his first match for FC Twente in the 2014/15 season. The home match against PSV on April 4, 2015, was lost 5-0. In the pre-season for the 2015/16 season, Bijen was permanently added to the first team. In the 2016/17 season, he became a regular starter. Bijen didn't miss a minute in the first half of the season. In December 2016, he extended his contract until 2020. Bijen was relegated to the Eerste Divisie with FC Twente in 2018.
