UD Lanzarote is a Spanish football club. Its home stadium is Ciudad Deportiva in Arrecife, Lanzarote, Canary Islands. The team has played in the Tercera División since 2010/11.
UD Lanzarote has played professional football since 1980, when it debuted in the Tercera División. After finishing third in 1999, it achieved promotion to the Segunda División B via the play-offs for the first time. Its appearance there lasted only one season. After relegation in 2000, the club won the championship the following year and reached Segunda División B again via the play-offs. In its first seasons, the club competed for promotion, but despite winning the championship in 2003/04, it failed to maintain its upward trend. The club has finished mid-table for the past two seasons. In the 2004/05 season, the club made a splash by eliminating RCD Mallorca from the Copa del Rey.
