Greek striker Anastasios Douvikas began the 2024–2025 season with RC Celta de Vigo before completing a permanent transfer to Italian club Como 1907 on February 3, 2025, for a reported fee of €13 million. During the first half of the 2024–2025 campaign with Celta Vigo, Douvikas served primarily in a rotational and substitute role under manager Claudio Giráldez due to heavy competition upfront from Borja Iglesias and Iago Aspas.
