Description
During the 1999–2001 period, RC Celta de Vigo achieved a 7th place finish in La Liga in the 1999-2000 season and a 6th place finish in the 2000-01 season, which qualified them for the UEFA Cup. The club also secured its first-ever major trophy by winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2000 and reached the Copa del Rey final in 2001.
