Fudbalski klub Modriča (Serbian Cyrillic: Фудбалски клуб Модрича), commonly known as Alfa Modriča for sponsorship reasons, is a professional football club based in Modriča, a city in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club was founded in 1922 and currently competes in the Second League of Republika Srpska. Home matches are played at the Dr. Milan Jelić Stadium, which has a capacity of 6,000. Modriča won the First League of Republika Srpska title in the 2002–03 season, thus qualifying for the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club's greatest success came in the 2003–04 season, winning the domestic cup. This victory qualified Modriča for the following season's UEFA Cup. They played against FC Santa Coloma from Andorra and won both matches, but were later eliminated by the Bulgarian club PFC Levski Sofia. Their greatest success, however, was winning the Bosnian Premier League in the 2007–08 season and qualifying for the preliminary rounds of the UEFA Champions League in the 2008–09 season, where they faced FK Dinamo Tirana and Aalborg BK.
