A truly exceptional and rare piece for the dedicated FC Bayern collector: an official match-issued Mehmet Scholl #7 long sleeved home shirt, provided for the Liga Pokal semi final on 02-08 2006 against Schalke 04. Bayern drew 0–0, won 4–1 on penalties, and Mehmet Scholl stepped up to take the very first penalty, having replaced Hasan Salihamidžić in the 70th minute.
This shirt represents the final era of a competition that was abolished after 2007, making authentic Liga Pokal matchworn and issued items increasingly scarce.
Mehmet Scholl is one of Bayern’s most beloved icons — a player whose creativity, intelligence and elegance shaped an entire era. His influence on Bayern’s midfield throughout the 90s and 2000s makes any matchworn Scholl item highly desirable and historically significant.
Shirt details:
- Long sleeved player issued shirt.
- Red home shirt 2005/2006.
- Official Liga Pokal patch on the right sleeve.
- Adidas flame logo on the lower left sleeve.
- Original 25 cm back number in authentic match style
- Climacool player issue construction
- Internal labels and identifiers that clearly distinguish it from retail versions
- Directly tied to a semi final appearance and Scholl’s decisive penalty contribution.
This shirt is issued with a COA from WeLoveFootballShirts stating the origin.
