Neymar Jr. no longer plays for Al-Hilal SFC, as his contract was terminated by mutual consent in January 2025. During the 2024/25 season, the Brazilian star saw very little action due to persistent injury problems. Ultimately, he played just 42 minutes for the club throughout 2024. Given the limited playing time and his astronomical salary, the club and the player decided to part ways with immediate effect on January 27, 2025. Over the course of his 18-month stint in Saudi Arabia, Neymar played only seven official matches. He subsequently returned to Santos, the Brazilian club where he started his career.
