Tymen Niekel (born 29 April 2004) is a Dutch footballer who usually plays as a defender.

Niekel started playing for SC Hercules Zaandam, after which he transferred to DVC Buiksloot. In 2015, he joined AZ. In 2019, he left AZ for the PSV youth academy, where he left in 2022. Niekel then joined N.E.C., where he later played for the Under-21 team.

In August 2024, Niekel was loaned to TOP Oss for one season. On 7 March 2025, Niekel made his debut in the Eerste Divisie, coming on as an 86th-minute substitute for Marcelencio Esajas in the home match against FC Volendam (a 0–2 loss). In mid-2025, he moved to OJC Rosmalen, which plays in the Vierde Divisie.
