TSV 1860 Munich – Season 1993/94

The 1993/94 season was one of the most memorable in modern club history for TSV 1860 Munich. The "Löwen" played in the 2. Bundesliga, where they put in a strong campaign under the guidance of manager Werner Lorant.

With a close-knit squad, featuring players like Peter Pacult, Bernhard Winkler, and Manfred Schwabl, 1860 Munich convincingly won the 2. Bundesliga championship. This earned the club promotion back to the top flight of German football for the first time since 1981.

This promotion marked the start of a new, successful period for the club, once again challenging city rivals Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
