The New Zealand national rugby union team is a team of rugby players that represents New Zealand in international competitions. The team is known by their nickname All Blacks, which they received because they always play with an all-black kit.

Rugby is the national sport of New Zealand and the national team is considered by many to be the best rugby team in the world. This is mainly based on the fact that New Zealand has won more times than it has lost against every country. Nevertheless, after their victory in their own country (1987) in the first Rugby World Cup, they failed to win the world title for five editions. It wasn't until the World Cup returned to New Zealand in 2011 that they won their second title. Four years later, in 2015, they were the first team to extend their title and became the record holder with three world titles. They play annually against Argentina, Australia and South Africa in The Rugby Championship.
