Association Sportive de Saint-Étienne Loire (better known as Saint-Étienne) is a French football club, founded in 1920 and playing in Ligue 1. The club plays its home games at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.

The club achieved its greatest success in the late 1960s to mid-1970s. Various prizes were won. The European Cup I final was also reached in the 1975/76 season, which was lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich. No French club has won more league titles than Saint-Étienne.
