A wide range of England football shirts
The England national football team represents England, and not the entire United Kingdom, in international football competitions such as the World Cup and the European Championship.
Each of the four Home Nations (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) has its own football association, its own league and its own national team. England is by far the most successful of the four.
In 1966 England became world champion in its own country. It reached the semifinals of a major international tournament four more times (European Championship 1968, World Cup 1990, European Championship 1996 and World Cup 2018).
