Original retro vintage football shirt AFC Ajax 2005/06

During the 2005–2006 season, Swedish striker Markus Rosenberg was a prominent forward for the Dutch club AFC Ajax, having joined from Malmö FF for a €5.3 million transfer fee. Under manager Danny Blind, he initially played as a central striker but was frequently shifted to the left wing. This positional change occurred primarily to accommodate the arrival of striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in January 2006. Rosenberg scored 12 league goals in 31 Eredivisie appearances over the course of the campaign. He also played a vital role in European competitions, scoring against Brøndby IF to help Ajax qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage.
