VV Geldrop was founded as an association on 5 May 1926. The association has nine senior teams, 44 youth teams, a veteran team and two futsal teams. The club colours of the club are white and green. The first team plays in predominantly white, with green on the shoulders. In the years '84, '87 and '90, Geldrop was the general amateur champion of the Netherlands.
VV Geldrop plays its matches at Sportpark De Kievit in the Braakhuizen district. This park has an artificial grass field on which football is played and trained. The fields of SV Braakhuizen are adjacent to the fields of VV Geldrop. In total, this park has twelve fields, two of which are artificial grass. The fields of VV Geldrop are located on the west side with the entrance on the Kervel.
A special Geldrop newspaper is published twice a year. These editions contain information about the various teams, stories with important people within the club and articles about the youth of Geldrop. The newspaper is written by two members of the association and printed in a circulation of 30,000 copies.
