He made his debut on 19 August 2022, coming on in the 80th minute of the 2-1 league victory against Jong FC Utrecht. On 24 July 2024, Smolarczyk signed a three-year contract with Korona Kielce, with an option for a fourth year. Smolarczyk is called up to represent Poland internationally at youth level. He made his first selection for the Polish under-20 team in 2023. Smolarczyk primarily plays as a defender. He is known for his strength. Smolarczyk is originally from Warsaw, Poland. He has a younger brother who is also a footballer.
