Kappa is an Italian brand of sports shoes, sports clothing, daily clothing and shoes.
The Kappa clothing brand was founded in 1967 in the northern Italian city of Turin. In the seventies, the owners had a new logo designed for their company. During that phase, a photo was taken of two models, which by accident were back to back. The logo symbolizes the idea of sportiness and freedom for men and women. This philosophy not only relates to sports, but also to daily challenges. The claim: "be a good athlete" refers to this attitude.
Towards the end of the 1970s, Kappa started sponsoring European football clubs. After the first technical sponsorship in Italian football (Juventus FC), several other sponsorships followed in the European top, including Feyenoord, AC Milan, AS Roma and AFC Ajax.
