Original Moser vintage cycling shirt Skil 2005

As Shimano-Memory Corp, the team started riding in 2005 with a few riders from the Bankgiro loterij team, including former Dutch champion Rudie Kemna, supplemented by Shimano riders. Kemna put an end to his active career as a cyclist after 2005 and in 2006 he became sports director at Skil-Shimano, as the team had since been called. Until 2008, through the intercession of the Asian sponsor Shimano, many Japanese and Chinese rode for the team, with the aim of allowing these riders to gain experience in a professional European cycling team in the run-up to the Beijing Olympics. Many of these Asians left after 2008, without their presence having led to many successes in recent years. In 2008, Iwan Spekenbrink took over the management of Scheppink.
