Northampton Saints (officially Northampton Rugby Football Club) is a professional rugby club from Northampton, England. The club plays in the Gallagher PREM, England's top rugby league.

The club was founded in 1880 as "Northampton St. James," earning it the nickname Saints from the 1880s onward. The team plays its home games at Franklin's Gardens, a 15,249-capacity stadium in the St. James district in the west of the city. Since the early 1900s, the team has played in black, green, and gold.
