This match shirt was worn by substitute Davy de Beule who did not come in during the match RKC Waalwijk - Roda JC on 24 August 2012 in the Eredivisie.
Davy De Beule (Hamme, November 7, 1981) is a former Belgian football player. De Beule was voted Young Professional Footballer of the Year in 2003.
De Beule signed with VW Hamme at the age of six. In 1992 he moved to Lokeren, where he eventually progressed to the A-team. He was called a promising footballer, and this achievement was creditably rewarded by being voted Young Professional Footballer of the Year in the 2002-2003 season.
In the 2004-2005 season, he moved from Lokeren to Ghent, after a whole affair. The case started with a contract extension offered by Lokeren. De Beule refused this contract, and was put in the B squad by chairman Roger Lambrecht. Davy De Beule did not take this and left Lokeren by using the law of '78. De Beule was then a 'footballer' for a while. Lokeren filed a complaint with the Profliga, which investigated the case. Pending the verdict of the case, he was given shelter at KAA Gent. When he was right in the case, De Beule signed a contract with the latter club. That contract was extended to 2009 in 2006. In February 2008, De Beule became the father of a daughter, Ana Lucia Orlando De Beule.
In January 2009, De Beule signed a five-month contract with KV Kortrijk, because he no longer had much time to play at KAA Gent. In the summer of 2011, he exchanged Kortrijk for Roda JC. De Beule played three seasons for the Dutch club, relegating to the First Division on Saturday, May 3, 2014.
On August 27, 2014, it was announced that De Beule had signed a three-year contract with KFCO Beerschot Wilrijk, which then played in the fourth division. De Beule has been promoted three times in a row with the club. He retired from football at the end of the 2016/17 season.
