FK Red Star is a Serbian football club from Belgrade. Home games are played in the Red Star stadium, with a capacity of 55,538 spectators. It is the only Serbian football club (Yugoslavian at the time) to have won a UEFA competition, namely the European Cup I in 1990/91. In the final Olympique Marseille was defeated on penalties (5-3). In addition, the club won the World Cup for club teams in 1991 by beating Copa Libertadores winner Colo-Colo 3-0.
According to recent polls, Red Star is Serbia's most popular club, almost 50% of the population sees themselves as a supporter. FK Partizan is its biggest rival.
