Hull City Association Football Club is an English football club from Kingston upon Hull, founded in 1904 and playing in Football League One. The club plays its home games at the KC Stadium.
They came furthest in cup competitions in 2014, when they reached the FA Cup final.
In the 2003/04 and 2004/05 seasons, the club was promoted twice in a row, from the fourth division to the second in English football. Three seasons later, Hull City finished third in that Football League Championship, but defeated Watford FC and Bristol City FC in the final round to qualify for the Premier League for the first time. Hull was the largest English city that a team had never played in the highest division. In the first season the club could only just avoid relegation, but in the second season the club had to take a step back. In the years that followed it camped between the two highest classes.
