Menno Koch(Heeze, 2 July 1994) is a Dutch footballer who usually plays as a central defender and is under contract with CSKA Sofia.
Koch is a son of former volleyball international Wim Koch. In 2006 he was admitted to the PSV youth academy. Before that he played football at RKSV Heeze. In Eindhoven he attended the Pleincollege Sint-Joris.
Koch made his professional football debut on August 3, 2013 in a First Division match between Jong PSV and Sparta Rotterdam. He scored that game with his head the 2-2. Koch also made his debut in the PSV main squad on Saturday 20 December 2014. That day, he came in for Karim Rekik in the 88th minute during a 5-0 win at home against Go Ahead Eagles. In January 2015, he was leased by the Eindhoven club to NAC Breda. He made his debut for this club on January 17 against FC Zwolle. Koch played nine league games for NAC. In the last of these he had to go off injured after 25 minutes. The cruciate ligament of his right knee was found to be so damaged that surgery was needed and the season was over for him.
After being sidelined for ten months, Koch made his official return on January 15, 2016. That day he won a league match with Jong PSV with 1-2 out at Go Ahead Eagles. He played 16 games in the First Division that season. Koch won an award for the first time in his professional career on July 31, 2016. He won the 2016 Johan Cruijff Scale with PSV. He came on in the 88th minute for Andrés Guardado. PSV leased Koch to FC Utrecht for a year in August 2016. After his playing time here was limited to four games in six months, he returned to Eindhoven early in January 2017.
