The 2004–2005 season of FC Den Bosch was the 38th year in the existence of this Dutch professional football club from the city of the same name. After an absence of two years, the club returned to the Eredivisie and took part in the KNVB Cup tournament. Den Bosch finished in eighteenth and last place, which meant that the club was directly relegated to the first division. Trainer Henk Wisman, who is in his first season in Den Bosch, left the club immediately at the beginning of March. Assistants Jan van Grinsven and Wim van der Horst temporarily did the honors. Wisman was the third coach in the Premier League who did not complete the season. Johan Neeskens was fired from NEC Nijmegen just before the winter break, after which Ronald Koeman quit at Ajax.
