Vincent Candela(born 24 October 1973 in Bédarieux) is a French former footballer. He usually played as a left back.
Candela was most successful at club level with AS Roma, where he won the Italian league title in 2001. Candela also won his most prizes with the French national team. Although he was often second choice behind Bixente Lizarazu, he still came to forty international matches for Les Bleus. Candela was part of the selection that won the 1998 World Cup and the 2000 European Championship. At the World Cup he played one game, at the European Championship he was bench seat. Candela also played at the 2002 World Cup. He also participated with France at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, United States.
